Hello all! I’m coming at you with a longer update on my life.
So many things have shifted these past few weeks. School is moving in the direction of normalcy. We only have about six weeks of school left and I am making the most of it.
With the school nearing its end we are being activated in ministry in order to apply what we have learned. Next week is our online missions week. The whole school is getting together to do all kinds of ministry online and through zoom. I am personally taking part in a full day online conference this Tuesday. It’s from 9:00am-5:00pm pacific standard time. I have the details and registration posted on my social media pages.
On a very excited note from me, we found out a couple of weeks ago that we get to go on ministry trips all throughout the USA. I am elated at this opportunity. I assumed with COVID, there wouldn’t be a chance to do any kind of missions in person. It is privilege I am ardently looking forward to. To add to that excitement, we also found out that all of the first year class (AKA Me) is being provided scholarships for the trips. We only have to pay $100 to go on any of them.
At this point your probably wondering where I’m going. I have signed up for a service trip to JH Ranch. It is a couple of hours north from Redding. This trip will be primarily focused on getting the ranch ready for the summer and putting up a humongous tent for their events. While there, I will also have ministry opportunities with the staff and other volunteers. We might take one day to travel to Ashland, Oregon. There we will do street ministry and cover the city in prayer.
I’m honestly very excited to serve on this trip. My brain is being constantly engaged in school, and I want to get my hands dirty. I looked at all the trips in detail, and my heart was pulled to this place. I truly believe God has some amazing miracles and encounters set up.
Although we are nearing the end of school, momentum hasn’t slowed down. We have been having explosive times of worship and prayer. I am also amazed by our speakers too. Todd White came and taught in school last week. He simply shared about how important it is to abide in the Father’s love and know His ways. I love how no matter how deep we go with Jesus, it always comes back to the basics of being loved by Him, and loving in return. Here is my favorite quote that Todd shared:
“Being born again is to be re-fathered” -Todd White
He was referring to us being adopted into the kingdom. We can’t just talk about being adopted, we have to live it, and learn how to receive love from our Father.
As far as looking to the future, I am planning on going to Bethel Conservatory of Arts for the next school year. With them, I will get a one year dance certificate. I am elated to join this program, we will be training in dance classes sixteen to eighteen hours a week. In addition to that, I will have personal and professional development classes to partner with my dancing.
I had my dance audition this morning for this school. It went really well and they called me back for an interview. I am hopeful that I will be accepted. This would be a dream come true for me. The audition was already magnificent. Every moment and turn the dance teachers were refocusing on Jesus, and the affect our dance has on His heart. It was wondrous.
That is all for now. Thanks for sticking around.
From me to you,
